It is our desire to treat patients, as
we ourselves would like to be treated. Our care is devoted to patient
dignity, respect, privacy and personalized attention. Our office hours
are planned such that patients are seen in a timely fashion. Patient
education by both conversation with the physician and by the
availability of printed educational material is important to us. When
possible, additional services such as breast ultrasound, additional
mammography or office procedures can be performed without the need for
repetitious visits. We make every effort to be a "caring"
practice that provides a very personal approach.
Office Hours
Office hours are held Monday through
Friday. Please wear two piece outfits and when possible schedule your
appointment during the first ten days after your period to minimize
tenderness. Children under ten years old are not permitted in our
office for both medical and social reasons. However, excellent
supervised childcare is available in the facility and should be
scheduled (telephone 973-322-7309) in advance of your visit.
Mammograms
If you have had mammograms or
ultrasound of the breast we ask that you bring the most recent five
years of studies and their reports to your visit unless otherwise
instructed. It is very important to have the previous diagnostic
studies available as frequently suggested biopsies are not necessary
when comparison to previous studies is made.
Financial Policies
Fees for services are determined by the
nature of the service and the special expertise offered in a
superspecialty practice that is devoted to individualized care. These
fees may not coincide with your insurance company's terms of
"usual and customary" and you are encouraged to contact your
insurance company prior to utilizing our services to learn of your
benefits. We accept:
The ability to spend appropriate time with our patients combined with
our surgical expertise have led us to not participate in most managed
care plans.
We look forward to caring for you in a
private personalized manner
