• Training - Murray H. Seltzer, M.D. has received additional training in breast diseases, cancer and surgery beyond the routine training of General Surgeons.
   
• Recognition - Dr. Seltzer has been recognized by national and regional prestigious organizations devoted to breast disease.
   
• Office hours - Hours are designed to make patients feel comfortable and not rushed. Ample time is left for patient questions and for family or friends to be included.
   
• Privacy - Our office makes exceptional efforts to protect your privacy.
   
• Personal Touch -We believe that patients should speak to a human when they call rather than an automated response system. Our phones are available during the
  lunch hour as well to accommodate patients.
   
• Medical Assistants - Our Medical Assistants are well versed in breast issues and are promptly available to answer your questions when you call.
   
• Prompt Appointments - Breast concerns are semi-emergencies in our opinion and it is our policy to accommodate such patients almost immediately with an office appointment.
   
• Call Schedule - With rare exception, Dr. Seltzer takes his own calls 24 hours/day and 7 days per week so that when the office is closed and patients call
  they do not speak with an unknown physician.
   
• Clinical Coordinator - A position specially designed to be a facilitator for all of your medical concerns. This person is available to you during the full work week to offer special attention to your concerns.
   
• Expedited Solutions - Extra studies can frequently be arranged during an office visit at the Breast Center.
   
• Reports - Our office calls patients with test results. You are entitled to prompt results.
   
• Breast Ultrasound - We are able to perform breast ultrasound as needed during your visit precluding the need to send you elsewhere for a separate appointment.
   
• Breast Biopsies - When appropriate our office is equipped to perform special core needle biopsies.
   
• Risk Management - Women with an increased risk for breast cancer need to be monitored closely.  In addition to regular physical examinations, we personally review their mammograms and offer risk reduction measures, such as seminars and appropriate educational material.
